The location of this hotel was great, as it was situated near the fjords. the hotel itself had a rustic charm to it that I appreciated. the breakfast buffet was good, with lots of fresh fruit and pastries.
The room itself was quite small and felt cramped with the limited amount of amenities and furnishings. the price was quite high for what we received.

I was given a room overlooking the sea, and the scenery was absolutely amazing. The room was cosy with sofa, and as I requested for a queen-sized bed, I was upgraded to another bigger room (I think). The receptionist Josephine was very friendly and genuinely helpful, and gave me alot of advice on how to get about town.
The location is a bit far off from the town of Os, you would have to take at least a 1km walk to the town, where you can then take another bus to Bergen downtown city. It can get a little quiet when dark too.

The view from our window was absolutely gorgeous. The staff was friendly and helpful and able to answer questions. The rooms aren't luxurious by any means, but they're very friendly and they felt homey and clean. The hotel feels very quaint and rustic. We enjoyed our time there.
It's very expensive.

Spacious room with fjord view. Clean and well-maintained. Delicious Norwegian Julemat served. Pleasant and helpful staff.
For us, it was ideal.

We were greeted by the most wonderful receptionist named Tanya. She suggested a beautiful walk and then lit candles by the fireplace and chatted with us, answering questions about the history of the guesthouse, grounds, and area. We felt that she went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The facility is very interesting and our room was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and we were lucky to stay when there were few guests. Food was good and presentation was lovely.

Location.
My room sittuated on the basement - I was told I was the last guest of the day - but I had to pay the same price. Beds very small, pvc flooring, very basic, but clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The spacious and clean room with a fantastic view of the fjords gave us a much-needed rest for our eyes and mind. The hotel facilities were top-notch and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's location by the waterfront in an upscale suburb provided an excellent escape from the busy city. Moreover, the traditional Norwegian Julemat served in the hotel restaurant was exceptional.
None.

We arrived in the evening, desperate, and had to take a taxi as it's not near public transport. the hotel has a nice view of the fjord, but it's not directly accessible as there is no waterfront access. the rooms are basic with small beds and small toilets, not a lot of space to move around in. the breakfast is quite good and offers a large selection. the staff is accommodating and were able to help us with our requests.
The hotel location is not as remote as expected and some rooms can be noisy due to events hosted in the patio area.

Just got back from our Easter holiday. We had an amazing time at this cabin-style hotel perched on a hillside overlooking the fjord. The views were breathtaking - waking up to the sound of water and birds singing was priceless. The rooms were clean and had a rustic charm to them. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast, with fresh bread and amazing smoked salmon to set us up for the day. We also appreciated that it was easy to get to from the main city, and the staff were lovely to deal with.
While the hotel was a great choice for us, it wasn't perfect. We found that some of the rooms could be loud, with noise travelling from other guests.
